The Dorothy Sutton Preliminary auditions will be held on Sunday, October 04, 2009, in the new Swope Hall, West Chester University from 1:30 PM until 5:00 PM. The fee is $15.00. Deadline will be Friday, September 11, 2009 at 11:59 PM. Teachers may refer to the PMTA website located at  www.pamusicteachers.org   for guidelines and entry forms. Students are required to play two compositions. The music for the elementary should be contrasting in style. No arranged music. Intermediate and advanced levels should be from two different periods of music history. Performance time may not exceed fifteen minutes. In addition, all students are required to take a theory exam by 5:00 on the day of the audition. Theory test information is located on the PMTA website under Dorothy Sutton Performance Festival.
